Santa Maria/Nipomo Weed Delivery Service
Cannabis Delivery in Santa Maria, Nipomo & Orcutt
Nestled in the northern part of Santa Barbara County, you’ll find a quaint little town full of history and culture. Santa Maria is known for its Wineries, BBQ, and so much more. Next time you are doing some birdwatching for Lawrence’s Goldfinches in Preiske Park, pull out a Presidential Blunt and enjoy the view even more! Back in 2013, Sunset Magazine had a 10-page spread about Santa Maria style Barbeque, which they titled, “The West’s Best BBQ Town”. They go on to call Santa Maria the BBQ capital of California. If you’re not in the mood for BBQ, you could always try an edible when you’re checking out The Tap Room or Jocko’s Steak House; the Wyld Gummies are a personal favorite of mine! If you are in the mood for BBQ, make sure you try the Santa Maria style beans on the side; they are delicious.
Santa Maria has a nice feather in its cap when it comes to the Wine Life. It was the region’s first approved American Viticultural Area, AVA for short, meaning the soil is complex and rich & there are extremely diverse microclimates that are great for growing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. We always urge you to drink and partake responsibly and there’s a lot of that to do in Santa Maria.
Santa Maria is also home to Allen Hancock College, which is where the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts (PCPA) is. You may have never heard of PCPA before, but I bet you’ve heard of a few of their alumni; Robin Williams, Kathy Bates and Zac Efron all graduated from the Conservatory. A little bit of knowledge for you to chew on while doing a dab in the Santa Maria area.
Not far away is the small town of Orcutt in the Santa Maria Valley. Named for the manager of Geological, Land & Engineering Departments for Union Oil Company, William Warren Orcutt. He is known as the “Dean of Petroleum Geologists”. I bring up Mr. Orcutt because he was credited with discovering fossilized, prehistoric animal bones that were preserved in pools of asphalt on Hancock Ranch. These would turn out to be some of the very first fossils excavated from the La Brea Tar Pits. Fascinating! A little bit north you’ll find the small town of Nipomo, CA. Aside from the beautiful vistas and views, Nipomo has a tight-knit community that respects its history. If you find yourself in the area, you may definitely want to check out an historical landmark: The Dana Adobe Cultural Center. If you take a look at the Yelp reviews, most folks appreciate this hidden gem and note that it feels like an ‘authentic Californian experience’.
